I Really Heart The Oregon Coast

We recently enjoyed a week at the coast.
Since we've been to this same spot for the last three years I found myself getting bored with taking the same old photos of the beach and our favorite destinations.
I'm not a heart person (jewelry especially) but I kept noticing naturally occurring hearts everywhere we went.
Of course I never tire of taking photos of these two sweet hearts.
The best part of our vacation was watching these girls play together. They are both getting old enough to entertain themselves with imaginary play for quite a long time. It's starting to become pleasant to drive long distances with them and explore new places without feeling stressed.

  1. Isn't that just great when they start to mature just enough that they don't need you quite as much ... but they still need you ;-) What pretty hearts!

  3. What a cool set of photos, Heather. There is a "heart rock" on the climb up Pinnacle Path near our house and every time we step on it we shout "heart rock". Young or old, it's magic every time. Your rocks are gorgeous -- and your girls -- incredibly sweet.

  4. We love the Oregon Coast too. It's only 1.5 hours from here - I don't know why we don't take more day trips. :)

  6. I'd love to hear where on the coast you have been going. Camping or cabin? It must be good if you keep going back! Coast trips are our favorites!

  7. Those heart-shaped rocks are very cool; someday I'd love to visit that area of the country.
I feel the same as you about traveling with the kiddos - it's a relief, isn't it???
