The Making, part 2

Pardon me. I'm now going to post five pictures of my kid wearing her Owelet sweater. This is because she's cute, not because you need five pictures of her sweater, though you might.
If you're thinking of knitting a toddler a sweater this ought to be high on the list. It was such a huge hit, and not just for her. She loved picking out the buttons (though I've realized I need to sew eyes on a fourth) and she wears this sweater with pride. That's a huge relief after many hours of knitting. The color of the yarn is called Blaze, which couldn't be more appropriate for this little person. She's really something.
Raveled here for those who'd like more yarny details.

  2. Oh. My. Goodness. She is a pumpkin and that sweater is so fabulous I don't even have words for it! Great job, Heather!

A sweater like that could almost entice me to take up knitting. But I won't let myself start any more costly and addicting hobbies :) I'll just enjoy yours vicariously.

  14. I just found your blog. Love it! And I got a little teary eyed when I saw that little owl sweater. My late Great Aunt made me one when I was little.
I wish I still had it for my little ones to wear ;(
    Blessings,
    Molly
