Turn the Page...Thursday

My Turn the Page Tuesday is rather tardy this month, but I do have a book I thought was really cool. Every time I visit the library I stop by the new books section and see what new craft books are lurking. Mostly I see one or two projects that peak my interest, but don't feel the need to purchase or spend a lot of time with. Any more my craft ideas come from blogging and there is no need to fill my brain with any additional clutter. This book is a really good one, though. I'm pretty surprised I haven't seen much about it elsewhere in blogland. The projects are innovative and truly green. My favorite is the soda can ringer screen. Pretty much impossible to describe, but totally stunning and made from the plastic "netting" that holds a six pack together. It would take me years to collect enough to make the project, but I have considered enlisting everyone I know to help. It's that cool! I also like the cover project, which is painted wine bottles. This book is pretty!

Adrienne has a few more book reviews over at Some of A kind. Stop by and stock up your summer reading list.

Thank you for the book recommendation. I'll have to look for it at my library!
