For the excitement of it all

I have a feeling I won't get much done today. Today I'm too excited to be a witness to an historical day in America. Today I watch Obama take office and I am full of hope. I am unabashedly thrilled at the possibility of it all. If you see me today I will gloat and grin and not apologize to anyone who disagrees with my choice of who to vote for. Today I will be filled with pride that my vote counted, and my generation helped propel a change. Today is a very good day.

Welcome to the White House, Mr. Obama. I'm glad you're here.

  2. I couldn't agree more! I have had a great day watching all of the festivities on TV. I wish I had been brave enough to head up to DC, but I couldn't imagine trying to navigate my way around with a toddler.
