Garden Greeting

My garden welcomed me home with a beautiful array of yummy food. We paired the three kinds of tomatoes with my basil and some garlic from last week's market as well as some olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt to make a delicious pasta sauce. In addition I sauteed the green beans with the rainbow chard and some carrots from the market to make a fresh and delightful side dish. Even Hadley and Amelia enjoyed this fresh garden supper. It's so much fun to make a meal from mostly what you've grown yourself, and though our garden is small, it is beginning to feed us some pretty tasty food.

more on the camping soon....

  1. Sounds yummy! Can't wait to hear more about your camping adventures...

  2. Your garden looks like it's producing some very very yummy things. I'm starting to have serious garden envy. In fact, I saw the garden of my dreams yesterday...I'll post the pictures later this week, but my Aunt has a garden that would make us all drool and then raid it for some seriously delicous meals! I'm looking forward to hearing about your camping adventures!
