My little sparkle-y, shining star is six. I don't know why she had to go and turn six already, but she did, and I couldn't stop her. Not for one minute did she hesitate about this decision to keep growing up right before our eyes. Not one. She jumped up at 6:45 in the morning and came running into my room to announce her plan. I'm six! I'm six! I'm six! And she was. What can I say about this little person to capture just how shiny and bright she is? It's not easy to sum her up I'll tell you that. This little one is full of life and light and joy. We are so lucky and blessed to have her as a part of our family. All day she partied and played and created herself the perfect princess birthday party complete with princess costumes, pink and lavender (the most beautiful shade of lavender according to her) star cupcakes with sprinkles on top. And her very own Rapunzel poster for the pin the crown on the princess game she dreamed up. There were balloons, and tea party decorations, but most of all there was dancing and smiling from ear to ear. Smiling and playing all day long. It was a perfect princess-y day. Happy Birthday my little star. You are loved beyond measure.
