It's in the bag

I finished my sister's bag yesterday, so I figured I'd show you both bags at once. This bag pattern is just perfect for a diaper bag. Especially since I plan to add some zippered pouches to put in the bag for organizing the small stuff that is constantly floating around. Binkies, diaper cream, teething gel, etc. You know. The things you can't quite get your hands on when your child is screaming and you need to find them NOW.

My the test bag
A fuzzy (sorry) shot of the embroidery
Rebby with her new bag (the only change I made was to widen the straps. I like them wider than the original pattern and I'm glad I made this change.)

The inside pockets and magnetic cool!

One more shot. Because I'm so excited that I made this cute bag, and I love the Mary Engelbreit fabrics. (chosen by Rebecca)

  1. Wow, Heather! Gorgeous!! I love the bag, the fabric, the cool magnetic clasps - all of it. Good work! Good Good Work!

  2. SO darling!!! I love the straps (that they have both fabrics on them!) and the lining too. WOWZA!!! You really rock!!! -S

  3. It turned out did a great job!

  4. I love the fabric. Good choice Rebecca. That is such a great idea because if you have to carry it around all the time you want your diaper bag to be cute!

  5. Wow, you did a great job! So inspiring...and I love that little bit of embroidery.
