Bowl II

I got really lucky awhile back and scored some books from Deb over on Deb's Bees Nest when she was cleaning out her office. The books arrived on Friday and I can't wait to use them sometime. Also in the package was a little bit of freebie fabric, which I LOVE! I knew instantly that it would need to become a bowl. So here it is friends, bowl number two.

I tried my hand at a round shape this time and I have to say it was not easy. I thought I'd give the bowl away to one of Hadley's teachers, but I'm not sure it's really symmetrical enough. So now it's holding crayons, and I'm growing sort of attached to it.

Thanks, Deb!! I love the fabric and the books.

  1. Looks great - I love the fabrics and contrasting thread. Perfect for crayons and such!

  2. This is definitely dymmetrical enough to give away, but I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to keep it. It is beautiful! How long did it take you to make it?

  3. Wow, I like the round bowl better than the original. I agree with Baby Isha, it's definitely symmetrical enough to give away, although I can see why you are becoming attached to it. It's gorgeous! I really like these bowls, Heather! Great job!!

  4. Oooh, I really love this one!!! I can see why it would be hard to give away! It is very nice. -S

  5. hmmmm. . .. i am wondering how you made that darling bowl!!! i am also wondering how you got the nice graphic behind your blog title. your blog looks great. . . hope you are well and i'll be posting the skirt pattern very soon.
