My lack of posting is not for lack of activity. Just so you, our faithful readers, know. We have been up to all sorts of fun fallish things, we just haven't been good at capturing them on film and then posting them on the blog. We did go to the corn "maize" last week. We didn't actually do the maize, but they had what they called the courtyard and it consisted of bumpy cow train rides, a giant jumping pillow (gut busting fun for all of us except my bladder), a corn box, and real live pig races. I took some darling pictures with my phone, but I can't get them off now. I'm not smart enough. We also had our school carnival the week before that. Hadley was about the cutest cowgirl on the planet. Once again I didn't have the camera so I took a phone photo. You'll have to imagine it. She had a red bandanna and a little hat and everything. Daddy even took her to the thrift store to buy a little cowgirl shirt and they actually found one. That never happens to me. Daddy and Hadley have also been gathering piles (and that's an understatement) of black walnuts from our tree in the backyard. Anybody like walnuts? We have so many the squirrels can't even make a dent in them. There's also been leaf raking and front yard decorating going on around here. A really fun fall in general. Hadley is eagerly anticipating the donning of her purple sparkle y witch costume here in about ten days. I'm hoping I'll at least get a good photo of that. For now I'll leave you with a lot to imagine!
